Kepong stretches across the northern Kuala Lumpur boundary, from the older Kepong Baru neighborhood through Taman Kepong and the Kepong Sentral corridor. It's a long-established Chinese-majority residential district with a mix of older landed homes and newer high-rise developments. Most residential homes in Malaysia are Pusat Jagaan registered with the Welfare Department (JKM) under the Care Centres Act 1993 (Act 506). Homes offering clinical, doctor-led care may instead be licensed by the Ministry of Health under Act 586. Before you commit: ask to see the current registration certificate, confirm it names this exact address, and check the expiry date.
